ASCII Art in Gemini

Until things settle down in the ongoing debate about how to use metadata in Gemtext for accessibility purposes, I think it's a reasonable idea to simply avoid using ASCII art on Gemini. Accessibility is critically important and so often overlooked on the Web, so my hope for Gemini is that accessibility is more core to its ideals.

I have no doubt that at some point in the future, Gemini browsers will standardize on a way to present preformatted text blocks in an accessible way to visually impaired users, but until then I'm going to try to play it safe.
