I am making some changes to my gemlog. Instead of separating my gemlog out by years and months, I am now just using a rolling list. This will make some of the updating of my gemlog easier, giving me more time to run in the woods with Foxy Brown!
I also wrote a couple of scripts for uploading new gemlog files, and for processing that file and adding it to the list. That way I can just write in the gemlog, without thinking about having to maintain the different links and files.
Should be more fun for a wood elf, who doesn't particularly like the file management portion and just wants to write!
Thanks to a friend (also on gemini, and fellow D&D player and writer) who suggested it. I've also been working on a story with him lately, and we have about 15,000 words of the new story in a few weeks. We're not ready to share yet. I'll just say it is a supernatural mystery, Xfiles style.
