After a long journey, I am finally back in California, mainly to visit my parents. They told me a lot has changed, but it really feels the same as it always was. I have been gone for five years, but being here again makes it feel like I never left. Of course, that's why I left... everything just stays the same, and there is more to life than staying in one place.

I haven't written much about my recent adventures, although there would be a lot to tell. Chock that up to laziness. I'll try to think of something soon. The gemcast is still on hold because I don't have proper microphone, but I'm picking up stuff here and there as I get all my affairs in order. I should add a headset to my shopping list.
