Weather Updates
===================================
After some sunshine early on Monday, skies clouded up quickly and
some much needed rain moved into Central and Eastern Kentucky on
Monday afternoon. It appears this will be just what the doctor
ordered for drought ravaged Kentucky with several days of possible
rain in our area. A cold front is slowly moving eastward with the
Gulf of Mexico wide open for business so abundant moisture
continues to stream northward. The front will check up as a wave of
low pressure moves in from the west and stalls out over Arkansas
into the mid week. This will keep the rainfall chances around much
of this week as it may take until Friday for the low to completely
clear the area. The heaviest rain could fall into early Tuesday
with an inch or two of rain possible in a few spots. The scattered
shower chances and clouds should hold temperatures down, especially
behind the front with highs falling into the low and mid 50s for
later this week. By the upcoming weekend, temperatures should
moderate slightly with pleasantly cool temperatures under partly
cloudy skies. Enjoy the much needed rain this week...TG
