Weather Updates
===================================
It was a fairly nice start to the work week across Central and
Eastern Kentucky on Monday. While afternoon highs were on the warm
side around the 90 degree mark, an east to northeast wind made
things a bit more bearable under the bright sunshine. It does look
like we've got more heat on the way into the mid week but pleasant
changes should be on the way heading toward the Labor Day weekend.
Highs should surge into the low and mid 90s Tuesday and Wednesday
ahead of a frontal system which is set to move through Kentucky
late Wednesday. Behind this front temperatures should be quite
pleasant for late August and heading into September with highs into
the low and mid 80s Friday through Sunday and drifting toward the
upper 80s on Labor Day. It should be a good stretch of weather for
the Cats home opener at Commonwealth and for any outdoor plans over
the Labor Day weekend...TG
