Weather Updates
===================================
No big surprise it was a hot finish to the work week here in
Central and Eastern Kentucky with afternoon highs into the mid and
upper 90s. Temperatures were a few degrees below Thursdays readings
due to a brisk westerly wind, but make no mistake about it, the
conditions were sweltering on Friday. Into the weekend we should
see a few changes as a cold front drops through Kentucky. Saturday
should be another hot one with highs into the low 90s but scattered
thunderstorms should be a possibility late in the day as the cold
front works through. We will see a brief break from the heat on
Sunday with highs into the mid and upper 80s before the heat tries
to return quickly into early next week. Yet another front should be
on the way for the mid week and this time around we could see even
more of a significant cool down by this time next week. Enjoy the
weekend and try to stay cool...TG
