Weather Updates

It was another scorcher on Thursday across Central and Eastern
Kentucky with afternoon highs into the mid and upper 90s and heat
indices over the 100 degree mark at times. Heat Advisories were
posted for Northern and parts of Central Kentucky and we should see
more of the same with the heat and humidity to close out the week
on Friday. Highs should approach the century mark in a few
locations with the heat indices approaching the danger zone. We
will see a frontal system dropping into Kentucky late Saturday so
that should help to increase the chances for some much needed rain
and should help to drop our temperatures briefly for the 2nd half
of the weekend. Unfortunately the heat will try to return early
next week with highs topping out into the low 90s with a few
scattered storms by the middle of next week...TG
