hi everyone. January 1st isn’t a natural time for reflection in my life (typically those times are mid-March & early-Oct for me) but I am looking back right now after buttery after asa’s after les’ after asa’s (thanks to ppl for throwing parties!)

• well the main thing this year was the ways I drastically changed the direction of my life. I said to syd tonight how I feel like many parts of my life are finally heading in directions that feel fulfilling.

Below are reflections & goals:

Making art

• artistically, I dropped the ball on tattooing. Need to get back on that
• made 1 show flyer
• did some larger scale poster-style digital collages
• Got more into physical art again thru junk journaling which I call scrapbooking. It’s not only so much fun it’s also like… ppl in my life say they’re glad I have a place to put “all my papers” which I’ve collected forever all the time. That’s where I keep all my memories, so now I get to actually glue them down. I love it so much.
• I haven’t read poetry at an open mic in a long time… I kind of forget that I can, I always go “all my friends are reading tonight!” & forget that I can be one of the people reading. I’d like to share my stuff more <3

Going to shows

• periods of going out, tho tragically not at shows as much lately. Bars more
• I want to start a log to see what shows I go to & where!
