before the musicals,

before the blocking and the spike tape and the 10/12s,

there was wanting to make little performances with my friends. and i think I've gone full circle. I'm back to making little shows with the people I love. (it's a lot easier to wear a mask when you're self-producing.)

I'm also learning that even if I'm personally capable of wearing ten hats all at once, I could also work with my friends to split the work. we are all allowed to love the art.

• song cycle, a new trans americana fantasy

• devised musical, greek

• some sort of cowboy burlesque situation? very intrigued. making soup with the friends about it soon
