Nearly everything is an attempt to take something from you, sometimes the exchange is mutually beneficial, but mostly you get fucked. the financial system and the pissants that run it. nation-states and the mouthbreathers that support it. "private" property relations that withould vitally important resources hostage from the vast majority of the population to use as leaverage to extract labor from the populace.

"When someone steals another's clothes, we call them a thief. Should we not give the same name to one who could clothe the naked and does not? The bread in your cupboard belongs to the hungry; the coat unused in your closet belongs to the one who needs it; the shoes rotting in your closet belong to the one who has no shoes; the money which you hoard up belongs to the poor."

Nearly every business on the planet is running a scam on their customers. You will never recieve a truly commensurate exchange with any business because of the profit motive; the entire economy is driven by an unending desire to recieve more than you give. It is not possible to simply "break even" in the profit-driven model. you will either be driven off the market or you will be consumed by the fat greedy pig people that populate most of the marketplace.

Similarly, the laborer can never be compensated for the value of their work. It would literally end an economeic endeavor to pay comensurate to the amount of income that their employees generate for them.

"Come now, you rich people, weep and wail for the miseries that are coming to you. Your riches have rotted, and your clothes are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver have rusted, and their rust will be evidence against you, and it will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure[a] for the last days. Listen! The wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts. You have lived on the earth in luxury and in pleasure; you have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter. You have condemned and murdered the righteous one, who does not resist you."

the internet is a momument of shit built out of this human misery. It enables this scam to operate at levels never before imagined. Every institution is a Byzantine maze designed to defraud you of every last ounce of value that can be squeezed out of your life like am oragange. Every apparatus is a method to milk you dry. The morass of the customer service mantrap that tosses you around like a couch in a tornado then spits you out like sunflower seed shells, your nutritive value removed and the undigestible bits discarded in the dirt.

this "take and never give" mentality extends to the way we use the abundance of the earth. We strip the soil of it's nutrients without replacing them, we suck up all the resources from deep within the ground without regard for the consequences. We bury our slop under communities and dump it into the oceans with no concern for poisons we're dumping into our own homes and water and food the air we breathe. We burn up millions of years worth of sequestered carbon without care for the repercussions.

i simply cannot be a party to any of this anymore. I refuse to be part of this pillaging and rape of the planet and the creatures that dwell therein. I would rather die than benefit from any of it, even the tiniest morsel. I cannot keep pretending that my continued use of modern industrial technology is in any way "neutral" or unharmful.

i simply cannot continue to partake of this poisonous inheritence. This is not a matter of "privledge" in being able to refuse this stuff. I am likely to materially suffer greatly by refusing the fruits of this empire of horseshit. I do not care anymore, the tradeoff is too great for my moral and spiritual wellbeing

anybody reading this is likely to dismiss me as a crazy person akin to the unabomber or so-called "hairshirt" environmentalists. these people are so far up the ass of the industrial-capitalist order that they cannot fathom that giving up material gain can make them or society better-off in any way. unfortunately for the entire biosphere, this selfish short-sightedness is going to end in the total destruction of the only confirmed island of life in the entire universe.

I will not continue giving up my soul to inherit a dead world.
