I find it interesting that like facebook groups, there are rules to follow and sometimes you have to answer questions as to why you want to be in the group. I think this is helpful in creating specific groups for only those who actually want to be in it. I ended up in the #helpdesk and #bread chats. I think these are interesting for people who want to talk to new people. I am not really into the chats but I do think they are an interesting concept.
