# The New Twitter?
This is the first alternative ecosystem that I have attempted to use. I find this a very interesting concept. I don’t use Twitter all that often anymore. I like that this one is a very similar format, it makes it easy to use.
I registered for globally.social. I chose to stay with a very generic group as there weren’t many I saw that peaked my interest. They were very niche categories. Globally.social looked more like twitter compared to the sneed.social one I joined. The fediverse, somewhat like the explore page was better than Twitters explore page. I won’t lie this was a bit confusing to navigate at first but I started to understand it really quickly.
I love how you can join groups and not be bothered by those outside of them. I find that’s where most of the trolling and bullying stems from. It feels like a protective bubble.
