All good intentions, being ready to spend 25€, letting things out of my hands and involve a third party (a subcontractor)... did NOT bring any result.

OK

Now i have two 10 years old smart phones - broken. The good intention of rooting the device, installing a Linux operating system on it, making the communication un-traceable and secure, did not bring me forward.

I will now close the 20+ tabs with mobile phone OSes, rooting, firmware, flashing and other details you need; to go down the rabbit hole of self-deGoogled phones. I am done. And that does not mean I'm gonna give up.

It is time for a 20 years old device - suitable for: making phone calls!

“the AK-47 of mobile phones”

What can this device do? That's a reason for an all-night surfing session for the tweak of the week... And with some luck, ill have another broken phone in less then a week! Who wants to have one phone for ever? I wanna try.
