• fully appreciate context of youtube video: full access to comments (compression support, partial loading display), easy to update/sync, thumbnails of commenters, maybe even videos of commenters (titles, thumbnails & metadata), visualise replies, vtt to srt, other subtitle handling, instagram story archive

• youtube comment converter and editor is super useful in general tho, for searching through videos

• several issues: capitalist youtubers alr get too much attention, the work put into analyzing/fixing subs is non-trivial and draws attention to itself: a type of "fan work"

=> better than expected, not professional stuff but usable, doesn't support importing subs tho???

• oof professional software (javascript) can be such messy code too... makes me wonder how do ppl even get into captioning business? Does someone think wow i can make money from this? Who even are their contacts? lol at least im glad they provide non-obsfuscated JS

• i wonder why indonesian wikipedia doesn't call out BS on 5 stages of depression, english one does with sources
