A man explores an abandoned MMO. After several strange, unhealthy encounters, he realizes that the other people he encounters are missing people - among them a number of children and teenagers. The man is unable to determine whether they are NPCs or real people. They all speak cryptically, almost incomprehensibly, displaying only isolated words, snatches of sentences, onomatopoeia; at best, from time to time, an intelligible sentence emerges amid dozens of nonsensical logs. But even then, no clue, no element of understanding is offered. These missing people wander through these digital hells like diminished, haggard ghosts.
