Does anybody else hate what I will call the 'tiktok internet speech cadence?'

I'm referring to the style of speech in a lot of these 'informative' videos. Very fast speech, very flat, emotionless inflection, unnaturally short pauses between sentences.

It immediately makes me think 'scam, mis-info, nonsense'

Is this audio recording sped up? Is it a TTS model? Is it natural speech made to imitate the first two?

Well, it could be that the TTS is just getting indistinguishable from real people, but I'm pretty sure I've heard all three.

Anyway, all I have to add is that it annoys me.

The frenetic pace of speech is not enjoyable to me. It provokes anxiety.
