I聽know its a very old post, but I think that would be a welcomed addition. Most of the ressources spent by Tor are to make sure website cannot escape the sandbox. Gemini with its strip down protocol is great for private browsing.

Having the option to enable proxy in Lagrange would be really cool :).

I think the same, Gemini sites do not have fingerprinting capabilities because we do not send that data, so only protection for the internet connection itself is needed. I do not know how tor protects against dns query stuff and if that is part of the tor-browser features.

This could maybe be divide into two issues: (1) Wishlist item: a Lagrange interface for SOCKS5, so I don't have to use torsocks (2) I have trouble using Lagrange on top of torsocks, because when a feed is updating in the background, sometimes the application will freeze up and I'll have to SIGKILL Lagrange.
