Saelig Company, Inc has released the next-generation Pico Technology oscilloscope software – PicoScope 7. Based on PicoScope 6 software, it has been rewritten to take advantage of the latest PC and display technologies. The software is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems and now includes enhanced features and functionality, creating a precise, reliable, and easy-to-use toolset for portable and benchtop test and measurement needs. All current PC-based PicoScope oscilloscopes, from the entry-level 2000 Series to the high-performance 6000E Series are supported, as are legacy PicoScope models dating back a decade or more. The software is free for all PicoScope users.

RISC-V startup Milk-V has announced yet another development board built around the free and open source instruction set, this time a compact development device clearly inspired by the Raspberry Pi Pico: the $9 Milk-V Duo.
"Milk-V Duo is an ultra-compact embedded development platform based on the [SOPHGO] CV1800B chip," the company explains of its latest hardware design. "It can run Linux and RTOS [Real-Time Operating Systems], providing a reliable, low-cost, and high-performance platform for professionals, industrial ODMs [Original Design Manufacturers], AIoT [Artificial Intelligence of Things] enthusiasts, DIY hobbyists, and creators."
