[18:20] schestowitz Those archives will not include comments to the posts. This is most useful where Diaspora* links have been shared elsewhere people will still at least be able to view the original post. Details below.

Under Export data, select Request my profile data for posts, and Request my photos for photos. Check back after a while (may be minutes, may be hours, occasionally longer) for the download link. You will NOT be emailed a notification, you have to return to check the page.

[18:21] schestowitz There are multiple reports for this not working for profiles with large amounts of data. See earlier comments in this thread. I have successfully exported roughly 2,800 posts accumulated over 10 years.

Ive posted a few useful recipies under the #jq and #JSON hashtags recently. It can be installed on Linux, MacOS (via Homebrew), Windows (via Cygwin or WSL) and Android systems (via Termux).
