Julian Assange was born 3 July 1971. This means he has a birthday next week. His wife has pled for privacy because he is recovering.
Today I found myself wondering about the "Embassy Cat", Michi.
Julian's son, Daniel, would be about 35 now. He worked as a Web developer/designer and bought his father the kitten, who may or may not be alive at this point. It would be old in 'cat years'.

As far as we can gather, after the press conference (half a day ago) nothing significant happened. It's sort of back to normal for now. After Julian was kidnapped inside the embassy the family posted videos of the cat to prove he was alive and well in Australia, but that was more than 5 years ago. █
