Ubuntu Running Out of Energy

=> According to statCounter, GNU/Linux Increased From 3.77% to 3.89% This Month (Worldwide), Windows Now Below 20% in 78 Nations, Below 10% in 27 Nations | Links 16/06/2024: In Defence of Email and Why Recycling Symbol Lost All Meaning

Its planet too is deteriorating:

GNU/Linux is sailing along, but Canonical has missed the boat. Too busy sucking up to Microsoft, pushing TPMs and promoting "clown computing", Canonical either forgot Ubuntu has users or is simply neglecting all those who don't pay Canonical.

The above screenshots suggests nobody is even bothering to check (or curate) Planet Ubuntu. It has been like this for a day already.

Maybe Canonical just quit caring altogether... except for its PRESS RELEASES (many are about - and for - Microsoft, Windows, Azure and so on).

Canonical of 2024 is not the same Canonical we knew way back in 2004. Carcass of a company? Maybe not yet, but it's getting there. As an associate reminds me, individuals and companies never survive deals with Microsoft. Ask Novell. █
