Richard Stallman (RMS) insists "he will probably live many more years" and this is described as "critical" in a site endorsed by RMS but not authored by him. The FreeBSD forums said more stuff some weeks ago regarding this medical condition.

At a talk one month ago RMS said, "I don't want to go into the details of that but there is a website called stallmansupport.org that refutes many of the false parts of what people say about me. That site is not written by me."

It now links to this letter (Message of Encouragement from Eve Diana – Remembering The Good Old Times) and a new article regarding last month's debate with RMS. Here's the letter (sometimes letters are taken down later).

Message of Encouragement from Eve Diana – Remembering The Good Old Times by Eve Diana - October 2023: Dear Richard, I met you many many years ago at a loft in Boston’s Chinatown. It was a laughing gas party, we shared a balloon and had a lovely dance together. I know you are fighting NHL and I send you strength and support. There are thousands of fans sending virtual encouragement. Weave it into a warm blanket of hope and wrap it around you. My best friend, also an MIT grad, beat NHL in 2007 and you’re way cooler than he is. love and laughing gas, Eve
