21:52 DaemonFC; I got Windows 11 installed in GNOME Boxes on GNU/Linux last night to poke around with it so I'd know what my mom's church friend was talking about, and I ended up giving up on making TianoCore and sw-tpm work together, and just ran a bypass on everything the Windows 11 installer checks for. .

21:52 DaemonFC; I think that the reason they got rid of moving the taskbar was that the Windows 10 installer got hung up and threw and error code that didn't mean anything and they traced it around to "user moved the taskbar", so instead of figuring out what was actually going wrong with that, they just removed the "move the taskbar" feature in Windows 11 so the situation wasn't possible.

21:59 DaemonFC; In 1998, I demonstrated that Microsoft was lying about Internet Explorer being deeply integrated into Windows 98 by including a copy of RoM II and RoM II SE to gut it of Internet Explorer, de-register and remove Trident, and purge various clutter and registry keys, and reinstall the Windows 95 B Shell. (Patched to say Windows 98)
