01:14 schestowitz; The draft generally looks good to me. I too wrote about "online" 'banking'

01:14 schestowitz; There are parts I would phrase differently, but those are gramatically correct.

01:14 schestowitz; Seems good to go. I assume you'd be OK with me reproducing with attribution?

01:14 schestowitz; In the UK we still can (not easily) get service at a branch and we don't use "apps", let alone a "phone". Based on 3 banks anyway.... for now...

01:20 schestowitz; Pinning, afaik, is only needed if you want to ensure preservation of other people's content.

01:20 schestowitz; I myself find IPFS to be a resource pig. My node at home suffered churn (killed the storage devices within less than a year time after time; used up b/w to the point other users could barely do anything).

01:20 schestowitz; Since last server reboot our IPFS has used up like 1 TB of b/w. It was rebooted just over a month ago. There must be more efficient ways.

09:49 schestowitz;

09:49 schestowitz; The Debian project is pleased to announce the seventh update of its stable distribution Debian 11 (codename "bullseye"). This point release mainly adds corrections for security issues, along with a few adjustments for serious problems. Security advisories have already been published separately and are referenced where available.

09:49 schestowitz; Please note that the point release does not constitute a new version of Debian 11 but only updates some of the packages included. There is no need to throw away old "bullseye" media. After installation, packages can be upgraded to the current versions using an up-to-date Debian mirror.

09:49 schestowitz; Debian 11.7 is here almost four and a half months after Debian 11.6 to provide those who want to deploy the Debian GNU/Linux 11 Bullseye operating system series on new computers with up-to-date installation media so you wont have to download hundreds of updated from the repositories after the installation.
