Only a tiny portion of the budget of the Linux Foundation goes to actual developers (rather than administrators who don’t even use Linux)
Image: Beginning to Believe: Linux Foundation nets over $10,000,000 a month, promotes OSes that are not Linux; Sparky develops an actual GNU/Linux distro with loads of users worldwide
Summary: While or whereas the Linux Foundation reports 20% increase in spendings on already-huge salaries (during a pandemic!), SparkyLinux has just reported donations of € 335.66, PLN 1593.83, and $ 10 (all in all not enough to even pay one person’s rent*) because corporations like IBM view and treat volunteers like slaves _____* It might be enough for that in parts of Poland, but what about water, electricity, site hosting, food and so on?
