In spite of its growth, many still ‘bash’ Gemini because it does not do JavaScript and cannot impose layouts (“styles”) on visitors, instead allowing them to choose their own. In Gemini it is possible to implement and run programs, games etc. A lot of the heavy lifting is done at the server side, not the client side. This is a good thing. It’s how the Web used to be.
