“New security measures at EPO buildings,” as was covered here last month in light of this post from the EPO (warning: epo.org link), take this to the extreme. “This is not an April joke,” our reader added. “As announced on 14 February 2017, while the automated mail-boxes at PschorrHöfe and in Berlin will remain open, “the automated mail-box at the EPO’s headquarters in Munich (Isar building, Kohlstrasse) is being closed as from 1 April 2017. Outside office hours, documents may be handed to the porter, who will security-scan them on receipt.”
