Summary: Vista 7 still a no-go area for those who expect compatibility with hardware, software, and Web sites; GPL violations in Vista 7 tool are finally corrected (months late)
ACCORDING to The Register, the compatibility complex of Vista 7 by all means persists.
The Royal Mail’s Parcelforce website is upsetting some Windows 7 fans, because the service doesn’t support Microsoft’s latest operating system.
As we last pointed out a few days ago, compatibility issues in Vista 7 are a recurring theme. For example we have:

Well, compatible or not, Vista 7 is finally compliant with the GPL (many pro-Microsoft people rave about it, including Mary Jo Foley) after violating the GPL [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6] and not for the first time, either [1, 2, 3]. █
