Several months ago Colado admitted that Novell's channel was broken and there were also management shakeup in the UK. From the UK-based press we now learn that there are further issues in the channel, so Novell is creating another channel post for EMEA. Novell’s EMEA President, Volker Smid, left the company this year (he did not come back from his vacation). Moreover:

At the start of the year, Sean McCarry replaced Jacqueline de Rojas as UK and Ireland managing director.
