OUR sources suggest that, further to what we already know, the big layoffs will occur next week with an announcement that roughly intersects another (financial results). Novell is going to lay off people in Germany but in other places too, so Germany's mistreatment by Novell has not ended. People are being quiet about it for the most part and it’s mainly Europe that’s bound to get hit because of a new team which is being set up.

Novell’s management might not be totally concerned right now. All the executives are on holidays in Cancun, Mexico to enjoy their ‘over-achievements’. It makes no sense and it looks like a last blast before the meltdown chops Novell.
20% of the workforce are not getting commissions even though they are supposed to get them. Yes, some employers are not getting their commissions this week (neither will they next week) even though they have achieved certain targets and it’s due to big changes within the organisation. This is unfair as they push the commissions at a later stage. They are trying to shift money towards the future and drag along the sales people. They set higher targets which are quite impossible to reach as the company is still aching. █
