exped medium pillow case - 2022-11-29

i made a no zip cushion cover in my sewing class - very much like a pillow case but with a much larger inside tongue. time to use that design to make a pillow case for my exped medium pillow.

I messed it up but prototype :-) and still a totally functional pillow case.

• sized the material (as a prototype i ignored the selvage edge).
• hemmed the raw edges.
• folded the fabric for finishing.
• double overlocked the two long edges.
• turned outside in.

i also forgot about the fabric right side lol.

=> 2022-11-29 - (93K) getting ready to cut using the desk edge as a straight edge. | 2022-11-29 - (80K) fabric cut. | 2022-11-29 - hem short edges. | 2022-11-29 - (69K) folding the fabric. | 2022-11-29 - (76K) more of the fold: pins on the bed:-) what could possibly go wrong:-) | 2022-11-29 - (73K) fabric folded ready for finishing the long edges. | 2022-11-29 - (67K) double overlocking the long edges. | 2022-11-29 - (114K) all done and in use:-)

simple but not quite the same design as my model from the sewing class - show and tell at the next class?
