simplicity

Hello! I'm experimenting with writing a gemlog. We'll see if it sticks.

I've started to gravitate towards simpler forms for the tools I use every day. Gemini has been a great replacement to the web for my late-night reading of interesting content.

Go has been a really nice alternative to Javascript / Typescript. Originally, I felt constrained by the lack of functional programming support and the limited syntax, but that's actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It might take a few extra lines to write a program, but that program is much easier to read, more straightforward to refactor, and requires less documentation.

Like this Gemlog, we'll have to see if it sticks.
