Taking down notes

Something occured to me while I was working on FreeCodeCamp. I should've been taking down notes while I was going through the tutorial. Not notes on obvious things, but listings of the the elements and/or attributes I learned that day. I spent a long time trying to submit a line of text I was sure was right. I was just going through the motions again, and didn't realize they were looking for "font-style" not "font-family." Had I been jotting down the new attributes that were introduced, I wouldn't have overlooked the mistake of using one over the other. Now, I'm wondering how many things I just breezed through without actually taking it in.

I'm an idiot.
