Phones for the people

I feel that this small video about phones designed for people [1], and not for companies, somehow plays into our (the West) uncaring acceptance of modern computing [2] and not demanding more control over what we buy and use. I'm not quite sure how it plays, but I definitely feel like it does. Who wouldn't want a phone to look like a race car?
