They're launching this for New Reddit on the desktop only first - they are planning to bring this to their first party mobile apps in the next release as per their bullet points at the end.

The Toolbox desktop extension team seems to indicate they are going to create an interface for this functionality on old.reddit. And I suspect that a few of the 3rd party mobile app devs can implement some of this via the API.

The comment is referring to this post specifically not the announced feature. Pulling this post up on mobile doesn't work anymore.
