A shock was observed in DSCOVR data at 12:57 UTC. The magnetic field jumped from 9 to 22 nT, and the solar wind speed from 420 to 550 km/s. This is most likely marking an early arrival of the 16 September CME, that was expected for tomorrow. Geomagnetic conditions are going to be disturbed in the next 24 hours. Depending on the Bz orientation, minor to major storm levels can be expected.
