Registering the URI scheme "gemini"

The URI scheme "gemini" is not registered in the official registry, maintained by IANA.

The procedure is not too complex and is probably worth it. This procedure is documented in RFC 7595 and, basically, you need to fill a simple form, discuss it on an IETF mailing list and discuss with the appointed expert.
