Early Visit To The Tanana River (publ. 2024-04-09)

The weather here is still chilly, with mostly overcast skies. But we have had a few good days for walks. Here are some photos from the last week of March. It is technically Spring, and a lot of the snow has melted, but there is a lot left, and some days we are seeing light snowfall.

Here is one of the trails along the river:

This cottonwood tree looked majestic in the sunlight:

I noticed that some new Pussy Willow branches were popping out here and there:
