git ignore

• Ignore file(s) privately, updating .git/info/exclude file:

git ignore {file_pattern} --private

• Ignore file(s) locally, updating local .gitignore file:

git ignore {file_pattern}

• Ignore file(s) globally, updating global .gitignore file:

git ignore {file_pattern} --global
