OK, not "💨" but "-" 😉

This always makes me half smile, half grimace. A dash is a dash is a dash. I haven't the slightest interest in differentiating types of dash because I can't see where any confusion would arise. The same applies to curly quotes: totally unnecessary, in my opinion.

I wouldn't differentiate when writing by hand, so I won't when typing. You go ahead and use whatever pucntuation seems right to you. I'll go ahead and think you're silly if you use anything outside plain old ASCII. Except maybe if you're French and you use « guillemets » it's OK.

Now you can ignore my opinion too. 🙂
