Go where? 🗺️

This seems like the least useful thing to type at a command prompt:

cd .

"Take me to where I already am, please."

But suppose that your current directory, /whatever/foo, is a symlink, and some other process has deleted and recreated foo.

$ ls
ls: cannot open directory .: stale file handle

$ cd .

$ ls
[list of files]

=> back to gemlog
