A fun thing about working at home a lot is that I'm here when scammers phone. They always start with an automated voice telling you about scary sounding payments. The most recent one went like this.
Automated voice: "This is a call from Bank Security Department. We're calling about payments of [two large amounts]. They are suspicious because you haven't made payments like this. Press 1 to approve or 2 to cancel."
Me: [presses 2]
Person with foreign accent in a noisy call centre: "Hello, this is Visa. [blah blah scary big payments blah blah]. Would you like to approve these payments or cancel?"
Me: "Cancel, please."
Person: "You'll need to connect to the internet. Do you have a device that's connected to the internet?"
Me: "I have a lying cheating person on the telephone."
Person: "Apart from this telephone, do you have a device connected to the internet?"
Me (trying not to laugh): "I have a lying cheating person on the telephone."
Person: [pause, realises, hangs up]
