Ducks

A week or so ago there was a duck in my back garden. After waddling around a bit, it flew over a fence. Where did it come from? My neighbour has a pond, but a single duck would almost fill it.

Yesterday the neighbour said she'd seen a duck WITH DUCKLINGS in my garden.

Dear ducks

Good luck with raising your babies, but you should know that foxes live round here, and they probably consider a duckling a tasty snack. For your next brood, there are 3 lakes and a river within easy flying distance.
