F1 is shown in the UK on Channel 4, but as highlights only. So after watching the race in Miami I thought it had been quite entertaining. Then I saw other people saying how dull it was and I realised that the highlights format can work in my favour.
Verstappen made a good pass on Sainz at the start. He stayed a close second until Leclerc's tyres started to go, when he passed and built a lead. But there was a safety car, which lost Verstappen his advantage, and it looked like Leclerc would take the lead back. That didn't work, and Verstappen won.
At least, that's the race that I saw. I didn't have to sit through lap after lap of nothing happening because Channel 4 edited that stuff out for me.
Why am I watching highlights? The economics of F1 are... unfortunate. I can't watch the whole thing unless I pay a hefty subscription to Sky. In many countries I could get F1's own subscription TV service at a very much more reasonable rate. But not in the UK. Sky have an exclusive deal on showing it live. So fuck Sky.
