Another reason why "the cloud" sucks

What I hate about "the cloud" is that acronyms for already known concepts and stuff are introduced. Routes are e.g. now UDR (User-defined Routes) in Azure. Those new abbreviations complicate things, and unless you went through the struggle to renew your whole vocabulary you don't understand what's going on.

Is this necessary? No.

This make the cloud appear more magical than it is. It it only means someone was successful in enforcing a new vocabulary for already known stuff.

This sucks.
