2020-09-07 Sex and the City

Watching a Sex and the City movie with my wife last night was culturally interesting. I presume it was about liberated women. It was almost entirely Christian and God free. The moral rules seemed to be:

• sexual pleasure is the universal highest good providing no harm is done, marraige isn't for everyone.
• women using psychology and sex to get what they want from men is good providing no lasting harm is done.
• women's happiness is in wealth and safety
• servants and poor boyfriends naturally exist for the gratification of the rich
