Porting "Cultures of Chaos" to PICO-8 (part 1)
My goal today is to start working on porting "Cultures of Chaos" to PICO-8. The code and sprites are relatively straightforward. I think my rough plan is:
I've got some things around the house to take care of first.
Awesome! Getting up and running in PICO-8 is great, I was able to set up some amoeba sprites, animation, and 8-direction movement, all within a relatively short amount of time! I think next I'll think about collision - it looks like PICO-8 has some notion of sprite layers, so I imagine that's where I'll want to look.
