Godot in 3D

I'm not currently planning on any 3D elements to my game, but I figured I might as well go through the tutorial on this, anyway. I'm finding more of the same in Godot - this all seems very well thought out, very pragmatic, but with plenty of "batteries included" aspects (but keep in mind I have zero experience with gamedev). I think one thing that this tutorial has shown me is that I'm not particularly interested in 3D, at least not right now, not for this project (not through any fault of Godot or the tutorial, it is just more mental overhead than I am currently interested in taking on).
