Bebop releases log

This page is updated at each release of Bebop with the tag annotation, if you want to track them.

0.3.1: non singular userbase edition

Thanks to fsan, kevinsan and others from the tilde.chat #gemini channel, this patch release brings several little fixes!

Breaking changes:

• Opening the last download is now done with M-o instead of S-o (uppercase O), because this keybind is now used to edit the current URL.
• Toggling the render mode is now done with m instead of § as this key is not present on some (most? lol) keyboards.

Other changes:

• Show the server-given reason when creating a client certificate.
• Allow UTF-8 and empty common names in client certificates.
• Local files with .gmi extension are now parsed as text/gemini.
• Fix missing empty lines in preformatted blocks.
• Error message improvements.

Gopher plugin changes (0.1.1):

• Fixes a few things, including error items display.

0.3.0: summer rain edition

The Finger plugin was just a test to play with a plugin system; now there is a more complex plugin available for Gopher! It's a bit rough but I found it comfy enough to release for now. It can render maps and text files, and just download the rest, except for the few things that don't make much sense (should we spawn a telnet when accessing a telnet item?).

Anyway here are the changes:

• Various robustness improvements
• Custom commands for plugins (they even show up in the help page!)
• Simple Gopher plugin

No breaking changes here.

0.2.0: plugins edition

I know 0.1.0 was less than 24h ago but well, plugin support has been a lot faster to do than I expected, especially as it is limited to additional scheme support for now.

Sooo first annotated tag! Bebop has been semi-public since 0.0.2, so this will only enumerate changes for 0.0.3 and 0.0.1 (typo, I meant 0.1.0), consider everything before to be basic features and light instability.
