Nothing much

While it's still fairly early, everyone in my house is in bed. I'm drinking

decaf tea, listening to Bohren & der Club of Gore (Black Earth, which is not

their single best album, but is the one with two of their best songs), and

reading and writing a bit in a terminal. For reasons I don't really understand,

a terminal gives me feelings of peace and solitude that a GUI don't. And a

monochrome terminal even moreso. Right now I'm using Cool-Retro-Term with the

DEC Terminal Modern font, amber CRT emulation, and pseudo-monochrome display;

terminal colors are supported, but are rendered in shades of amber.

I'm caught up on the news on the private NNTP server I'm on. I've read all of

the phlogs in the phlogroll, so I'm gone with gopher. I'm caught up on the

fediverse via brutaldon in w3m. And I'm done writing this, so I guess that's all

there is, and I'm ready to go to bed.

Good night.
